Safeguard
Properties Announces Management Promotions
Alan Jaffa, chief operating
officer of Safeguard Properties, announced the following staff promotions
into newly created positions. The new positions are part of an
organizational restructuring to better serve clients and accommodate
Safeguard’s current and anticipated growth.
Kellie Chambers,
director, property preservation operations. Chambers joined
Safeguard in 2001, and previously held the position of manager,
property preservation operations. |
Kathy Cogan,
director, REO client account management. Cogan was promoted from
manager, REO client account management and joined Safeguard in 2003. |

Palmer DePetro, director, REO regional
coordinators and customer service. DePetro joined Safeguard in 2009
as manager, regional coordinators. |
Jennifer
Jozity, director, inspections department. Jozity was promoted from
manager, inspections department and joined Safeguard in 1997.

Amy Nauer,
director, REO operations. Nauer joined Safeguard in 1998 and
previously held the position of manager, REO operations. |
Nancy Runyon,
director, vendor management. Runyon was promoted from manager,
vendor management and has been with Safeguard since 2000. |
(Note: REO is “real estate owned”
– industry term for post-foreclosure properties in which ownership has
transferred to lender or investor.)

in 1990 and based in Valley View, Ohio, the company inspects and maintains
defaulted and foreclosed properties for mortgage service companies, lenders,
investors and other financial institutions. Safeguard employs more than 800
